THE WEAVING KIND MAKERIE
BOULDER, COLORADO | OCT. 19-22 2017
I've been working hard on an amazing project and I'm thrilled to share it with you - the first ever retreat for modern weavers! On October 19-22, gather with us for three incredible days of learning, self-care, intention-setting and community in the Colorado mountains.
The WKM is set at the foot of the majestic Flatirons of Boulder, Colorado, at the historic Boulder Chautauqua. The campus, which backs up to hiking trails among breathtaking scenery, has been a venue for creative cultural learning since 1886. In cozy, time-seasoned buildings on a beautiful campus, you will take part in intimate workshops taught by a dream team of dynamic young weavers, nourish your well-being with special self-care sessions, try incredible looms, tools and fibers, enjoy locally-prepared meals, build friendships with other weavers, and be inspired by our instructor panels and evening speakers to set deeper intentions for a lifetime of weaving.
We've built the WKM around three main ideas: Connection, Intention, and Growth. We believe these three things make up the foundation of a beautiful and lasting weaving practice. I'll be overseeing the weekend and leading a morning creative meditation, and I can't wait to see you there!
