ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Neubert is a fiber artist who lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her weaving practice is part self-administered therapy, part communication strategy; in other words, it helps her feel okay, and like she belongs. The way each thread contributes to overall flavor of the cloth has made her value peculiarity and individual strength - both in fibers and in people. Although weaving is usually a solitary endeavor, it also reminds her every day that none of us are alone.

Sarah approaches her work as a multifaceted collaboration between herself, the unique natural materials she’s drawn to, and the spaces and people they’re meant for. Her handwoven works bring warmth, sensuality, and equivalence to the private and public places they inhabit.
